For the 19th edition of the European Music Day many prestigious locations in Rome will be hosting free concerts and musical performances. Starting June 21 more than 130 events will be held throughout the city center until June 23. The performances will range from classical music to jazz, rock, electronic and more.
This wonderful event will take place in many different locations: public squares, churches, private palaces, museums, shops. Some of them are famous venues like the Spanish Steps, the Capitoline Museums, Trajan Markets and in front of the Pantheon at Piazza della Rotonda. Some other venues are less known museums like the Corsini Gallery, Mecenates Auditorium, Canonica Museum at Villa Borghese and many others. All concerts in Rome are free and there is no need to book in advance.
The Rome events are part of the European Music Day that will be also held in many different cities throughout Europe. For more information www.europeanmusicday.eu and www.festaeuropeadellamusica.it
