Bernina Express Private Tour from Milan

During a drive of about three hours we will ride along the shores of the beautiful Lake Como before reaching the town of Tirano, near the border with Switzerland. Here you will board the Bernina Express train and begin the ride along the historical Rhaetian Railway, a Unesco World Heritage attraction, built between 1908-1910.

The journey will be about two hours long during which you will reach an altitude of 2,253 meters above sea level (about 7,400 feet). Going through tunnels and bridges you will admire the pristine nature of the Alps, with its beautiful glaciers, snow-capped peaks, forests. 

The train will stop in the lovely Swiss town of Sainkt Moritz where you will have a couple of hours to explore on your own, do some shopping in the nice boutiques and enjoy a typical lunch (not included in the price, but we will be happy to make reservations for you in a nice restaurant). Your private driver will then pick you up and take you back to your hotel in Milan.

The base price of this experience is with second class train tickets. If you wish is possible to upgrade to first class tickets by choosing the feature from the options menu (located in the reservation box in the upper right side of this page). Please note that we do take window seats whenever possible but if window seats are sold-out at the time of your booking we will book isle seats (train carts have two seats on each side of the isle). 

This tour is done with an English-speaking driver and you will be on your own on the train and in Saint Moritz. If you wish we will be happy to provide also a private guide who will be with you during the entire day (you may add the private guide from the options menu).

This will be a private experience, you will not be part of a group.
