Pompeii Tour from Naples

If you are on a cruise ship arriving at the port of Naples, it is possible to take this private tour as a shore excursion.

Your guide will take you through the ruins of Pompeii for about 2-2.5 hrs, visiting the most interesting sites and telling the history of this Roman city that was covered in the ashes by the vulcanic eruption of mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and that remained buried until the excavations started in the 18th century.
